Student Activities

Student Activities is responsible for securing entertainment for the student body. As a member of Student Activities, you will help determine what type of entertainment and what artists will perform at UW-Fond du Lac. If you're interested in learning more about Student Activities, please contact Maggie Gellings, Student Activities Advisor.

The UW-Fond du Lac Student Activity Committee (SAC) presented a check to United Way for $629.08 to support the 2007 United Way annual fund drive.

One of the fundraising events held in support of United Way was "Pumpkin Smashing!"

UW-Fond du Lac celebrates International Talk Like a Pirate Day in September to focus attention on service-learning programs.

The Art Students League prepares for the annual Art Momentum event held at UW-Fond du Lac in May. The exhibition is a student run, student juried sale to raise funds for art scholarships.

The proceeds from each sale will be split between the exhibiting student and the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation’s Art Scholarship Fund, to be directed by the members of the Art Students League.

Musicians Michael Warren and Kevin Duthu perform on campus during a "free hour" concert.

UW-Fond du Lac students participated in Team Trivia to benefit the Fond du Lac Adult Literacy Board.

The Student Activities Committee sponsored a Pie in the Face contest and raised $427 for United Way in fall of 2005. Faculty, staff and students joined in the tasty event.

The UW-Fond du Lac Student Government Association (SGA) and Student Activities Committee (SAC) joined together in the fall of 2005 to coordinate a fund raising effort for hurricane relief. Money was collected at lunch time in the University Center Commons and $239.59 was donated to the Red Cross.

A United Way Penny War fundraiser sponsored by UW-Fond du Lac Student Activities Committee netted over $500 for the local agency in fall of 2003.

The Student Activities Committee "Sock Tree" resulted in 149 pairs of socks being donated to the Salvation Army.
