Higher Ed institutions in FDL County host joint diversity workshop for students and community

“Social Change: Engaging Multiple Perspectives” is a free conference and the third annual diversity event collaboratively sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac, Marian University, Moraine Park Technical College, and Ripon College. This year features nationally known speakers Dr. Peggy McIntosh and Mr. Victor Lewis and includes interactive workshops throughout the day. You can register for the whole day or for individual sessions.

Students from all four campuses and members of the community are invited to participate in this event on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Marian University. There is no fee, but registration is required online at http://cw.marianuniversity.edu/diversity/. If you are concerned about missing class, speak with your professors well in advance about your interest in attending.
