UW-Fond du Lac student tuition frozen at last year’s rate
Fond du Lac, Wis.UW-Fond du Lac students will pay the same dollar amount in tuition this fall as they paid last year - $2,133.96 per semester, or $4,267.92 per year - as the result of action at a special meeting of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents on Tuesday.
Regents voted to freeze tuition rates at the thirteen UW Colleges (including UW-Fond du Lac) and to increase tuition at the four-year campuses 5.5%. Resident students at UW-Madison will pay $6,330, at UW-Milwaukee $6,191 and $4,819 at the other campuses.
“UW-Fond du Lac is the local access point to the UW System and this action by the Board of Regents ensures that our campuses remain competitively priced which will help our students achieve their goal of a UW education,” said Daniel Blankenship, dean and CEO at UW-Fond du Lac.
“The UW Colleges have long been the UW System’s most affordable choice for incoming students who can then complete their baccalaureate degree through one of the degree completion programs available at UW-Fond du Lac or at any four-year UW campus,” he added.
re is still time to apply and register for fall classes, which begin Sept. 4. To schedule an appointment with an advisor, prospective students can call (920) 929-3606.
