UW-Fond du Lac Theater Department holding auditions for fall production

Posted 8/24/2009—Auditions for UW-Fond du Lac Theater Department’s fall production of “The God Committee” by Mark St. Germain will be held 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the Prairie Theater, 400 University Dr.

The twists and turns of this fast moving drama probe the inner workings of an ethical decision that will literally be a matter of life and death as a hospital’s transplant selection committee meets to debate and choose who should receive a heart transplant.

Five male roles and three female roles, plus understudy roles, are available. Those auditioning will read from selected scenes and will be in-and-out within an hour. No experience is necessary. Scripts are on reading reserve in the UW-Fond du Lac Library.

Production dates are Nov. 4-8. University of Wisconsin college credit (COM 131) is also available. Produced and directed by Richard Gustin.
