UW-Fond du Lac to host Fond du Lac City Council candidate forum

 

The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac is hosting a Fond du Lac City Council candidate forum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 26 in the Prairie Theater, 400 University Dr.

The public is invited to attend this forum which is sponsored by the UW-Fond du Lac Student Government Association. Questions will be asked by a panel of area news reporters. Michael Mentzer, retired managing editor of The Reporter and currently an associate lecturer at UW-Fond du Lac, will serve as the forum moderator.

The debate will begin with a three minute opening statement by each candidate followed by questions from the media panel. Each candidate will have time for a one minute closing remark. Questions may be taken from the audience if time permits.

Invited to participate in the form are City Council candidates Catherine Block, Rebecca Lunde-Ross, Dan Manning and Samuel Meyer. There are three City Council seats open for election.
