UW-Fond du Lac Theater Dept. holds auditions for spring play

Fond du Lac, Wis.—Auditions for UW-Fond du Lac Theater Department’s spring production of “Over the Tavern” by Tom Dudzick will be held 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, in the Prairie Theater, 400 University Dr.

"Over The Tavern" is produced and directed by Professor Richard Gustin.

“Our spring play is a coming of age story of the Pazinski family whose youngest son questions the authority of his religious traditions and turns his life and those of his family upside down,” said Gustin.

Boys ages 11-17, girls ages 14-17, UW-Fond du Lac students and community members are invited to audition. The age range for the male roles is 11-50 and for female roles it is 14-70s.

Those auditioning will read from selected scenes and will be in-and-out within an hour. No experience is necessary. Scripts are on reading reserve in the UW-Fond du Lac library.

Production dates are Mar. 7-11, 2012. University of Wisconsin college credit is also available.
