UW-Fond du Lac offering concurrent enrollment for students at Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam

A concurrent enrollment partnership between Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam and the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac is enabling students to earn both high school and UW System college credit at the same time.

Students at Wayland Academy can enroll in Ancient History (HIS 112) and will be taught by their current teacher at their high school. Some of the benefits of concurrent enrollment programs are that high school students can get a head start on their college education, they can shorten their time to degree completion and they can save money on tuition costs. Tuition for these courses is charged at fifty percent of the normal UW-Fond du Lac tuition rate.

UW-Fond du Lac plans to expand its concurrent enrollment program to other high schools in 2013

.

For more information on concurrent enrollment, call UW-Fond du Lac student affairs at (920) 929-1122.
