UW-Fond du Lac hosts Community Involvement Fair on Feb. 6

Area residents can meet with representatives from 17 area non-profit organizations

UW-Fond du Lac and the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County will co-sponsor a Community Involvement Fair, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the UW-Fond du Lac University Center Commons, 400 University Dr.

Area residents interested in getting involved in the community can meet with representatives from 17 area non-profit agencies at the event. The organizations will have information about the services they provide and the opportunities for volunteers.

This fair is open to the general public as well as students. Area non-profit agencies and organizations scheduled to be at the Community Involvement Fair include Be the Match, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, Fond du Lac County Historical Society, Fond du Lac Humane Society, Fond du Lac Literacy Services, Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, Fond du Lac Public Library-Opportunity Center, Free Spirit Riders, Gottfried Prairie & Arboretum, Habitat for Humanity, Just Fare, Project Linus, St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store, UW-Fond du Lac Continuing Education, Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County, and Woodlands Senior Park.
