Lecture explores music and the Vietnam War on Feb. 9

Presenter Doug Bradley, a Madison-based Vietnam veteran, served as a U.S. Army journalist in the war in 1970 and 1971. He will tell the story of the Vietnam War through the music-based memories of those who served.

Many nursing programs at University of Wisconsin schools require students to have completed a nursing assistant course with clinical component and have a current CNA certificate at time of application. A partnership agreement signed recently brings a nursing assistant three-credit course to pre-nursing majors at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac through Clarity Care.

Judith Berger establishes memorial fund to assist students with cost of books

Finances and faith spurred Judith Berger to create a unique fund through the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation that helps struggling students afford books. While providing monetary aid, the Berger Book Bag Fund also honors Judith’s recently deceased husband, Joseph S. Berger, Jr., a long-time campus supporter.
