Library/Technology

UW-Fond du Lac is home to a 40,000-volume library located in the University Center. Periodicals, videos and sound recordings supplement the book collection. The library provides a blend of traditional and electronic services and resources to its patrons and provides access to all materials held by the libraries within the UW Colleges.

UW-Fond du Lac has one of the highest computer-to-student ratios in the UW System. There is one general access computer for every 10 students. Every classroom is equipped with up-to-date technology for enhanced instruction and a network and telephone jack for connecting to the outside world.

Student Technologist

UW-Fond du Lac will be hiring and training one incoming freshman to work for two years in the Information Technology (IT) department. Here's your chance to gain valuable on-the-job training in the technology field as well as earn enough money to pay for your tuition and more! One full-time freshman will participate in this outstanding educational and job-training program. Students, who complete the first year of the program including summer training, academic year employment and following summer employment, will also receive a $1,000 stipend for the second year of participation in the program, to be paid $500 at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.
