BERGER BOOK BAG FUND
The Berger Book Bag Fund is administered
by the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation for the purpose of providing financial
assistance to UW-Fond du Lac students who might otherwise have difficulty in
purchasing needed books and academic supplies. The funding for this program is
made possible through the generous gifts made to honor the memory of Joseph S
Berger, Jr., who with his father Joseph S Berger, Sr., was instrumental in the
establishment of the UW-Fond du Lac campus. Do make a contribution to the Berger Book Bag Fund, please use our online gift form(PDF) and designate this fund.
CELEBRATION WALK BRICK
Through the Celebration Walk Brick campaign, your purchase of commemorative bricks on the Celebration Walk at UW-Fond du Lac helps to build the foundation for the future. MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Foundation, Inc. is to promote excellence at UW-Fond du Lac while enhancing the educational and cultural activities available on its campus.
OBJECTIVES
The UW-Fond du Lac Foundation's primary objectives are to provide scholarship opportunities for students; encourage and support programs designed to involve the community in the campus; and help improve the resources available to students, faculty and staff.
The UW-Fond du Lac Foundation was established in 1974 to provide scholarships to both entering and continuing students and grants for professional development of the faculty and staff. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses and alumni responding to annual appeals, the Foundation has been able to award increasingly greater amounts to deserving individuals.
SCHOLARSHIPS
More than $30,000 in scholarships to
new and continuing UW-Fond du Lac students are awarded by the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation every academic year. Scholarships of $500 to $1,250 are awarded in the spring and recongized at a student/donor recognition reception in the fall. Students can find scholarship applications in high school guidance office or the UW-Fond du Lac Student Services Office. For more information on scholarships, click here.
