Fond du Lac is an exciting mid-size city at the foot of Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin’s largest inland lake. With a population of approximately 41,000 the city of Fond du Lac is just an hour from the largest cities in the state – Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay.
Five major highways and an excellent system of county roads lead into Fond du Lac providing convenient access to UW-Fond du Lac.
Lake Winnebago influences the character of Fond du Lac recreation. The city’s 400-acre Lakeside Park is its centerpiece, a place where families can enjoy the great outdoors to the utmost and where boats, marinas and fishing are a central theme.
