COLLEGE FOR KIDS GOALS
College for Kids is designed for highly motivated students possessing special talents and gifts. Students:

  • are exposed to new interest areas
  • interact with students having similar interests and abilities
  • enhance their interest in learning by experiencing stimulating and challenging activities
  • are encouraged to use creative/productive thinking and expression
  • foster skills for independent learning. Courses are offered from the following areas: affective/social development, thinking & study skills, language arts, mathematics, science and performing arts.

A Special Note for Parents: Please respect that College for Kids is an advanced program. It is not fair, to your child or other participants, to enroll your child in a class for which he/she is not academically prepared. We strongly suggest you confer with your child’s gifted/talented coordinator, principal or teacher prior to making course selections.
