Admission Requirements
Courses are open to highly able and motivated students entering Grades 2–4 in 2012. Applicants need not be enrolled in gifted programs at their schools, but must have a recommendation attesting to their ability to complete the course work from either their school principal or classroom teacher or G/T coordinator.

DATES: Classes are July 30 – August 2, 2012 from 9:00-11:45 a.m. Children enroll in two different classes separated by a supervised snack break each day from 10:15–10:30 a.m.

ENROLLMENT
: Be sure to complete the class preference portion of the application. We realize you would like your child to have first and second choices; however, the limited class sizes and number of children enrolled in the program make this very difficult. Enrollment is first come/first serve. Do not delay in submitting your child’s application! Incomplete applications are returned. Class assignments are final. Class size minimums and maximums are 10 and 16 respectively. Confirmation of enrollment, indicating class placement, will be mailed to students after June 18, 2012.

TUITION & ENROLLMENT: Non-refundable tuition for the program is $79, payable at the time of application.

COURSE CONTENT: The LEAPS! instructors have expertise in their subject areas, and are excited about having the opportunity to provide challenging enrichment opportunities for academically, creatively and artistically talented children. Courses are designed to meet the special needs of high ability children.
