03/21/90
College for Kids program was offered at UW-Fond du Lac to gifted and talented children. The two-week morning program ran from June 18-29 and offered a variety of topics such as computers, chemistry, and theater.

01/06/91
Four non-credit computer courses were offered at UW-Fond du Lac to help participants learn the basics of spreadsheet use, such as move, copy, erase, print, and create graphs.

01/10/93
On the 25th anniversary of the campus came news that student enrollment and quality were on the rise. Enrollment for the year was at 660 students while 40 percent of them were over the age of 21.

04/07/93
The UW Centers were granted a 10-year reaccreditation. Without it, transfer students would not see their credits transferred to institutions to complete their bachelor’s degrees. Accreditation also makes UW Centers eligible to receive federal financial aid funds and it helps in attracting faculty members and students.

05/15/94
Judy Goldsmith was formally appointed as dean of UW-Fond du Lac.

08/20/98
A $12 million expansion and renovation plan was proposed for UW-Fond du Lac in order to accommodate the campus population. The three to four year plan included renovation of existing classroom buildings and construction of a University Center including a new entrance, library, music department, theater, student commons area and a large-group instruction area. Campus Dean Judy Goldsmith said the campus was in critical need of science and computer technology upgrades as well.

09/29/98
The Fond du Lac County Board unanimously approved resolutions to proceed with a campus construction and renovation project. The vote was met with applause.

02/09/99
An academic collaboration between UW-Oshkosh, UW-Fox Valley and UW-Fond du Lac is announced. The cooperative effort will allow students of the two year colleges to attain a four-year bachelor’s degree in organizational administration from UW-Oshkosh.
