Professor Valerie Mumm joined the UW-Fond du Lac faculty in 2008. She had
the opportunity to complete
coursework abroad during both of
her degree programs. She studied
in both Valladolid, Spain and
San José, Costa Rica. In
addition, she spent four months
in Lima, Peru working with
children at a local orphanage.
She believes in the power of international travel and study and has led the UW Colleges study abroad program in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Professor Mumm advises the Multicultural Club which hosts a variety of campus and community events celebrating diversity.
She is passionate
about traveling and staying
active and enjoys hiking,
camping, dancing, biking and
cooking.
