ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A
SECONDARY EDUCATION MAJOR?

Teaching is a people oriented field. If you are interested
in an education major, you can begin or continue your university studies at UW-Fond du Lac. During the first two years of an education degree, students take course work in social sciences, English, mathematics, humanities, natural sciences and public speaking. When making your choice of education degree an important factor to consider is the age level of the students with whom you desire to work. Educators work with students of all ages, from very young children to adults. There are specialized fields within the field of education that you may find rewarding. Such areas are Adaptive Education, Art Education, or Music Education. The requirements for each bachelor’s degree in Education begin with the two-year suggested course sequences below.
