Biology & Botony

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A
BIOLOGY & BOTONY MAJOR?

All of us are aware of the biological crises that confront us today: environmental pollution, overexploitation and depletion of our natural resources, the problem of adequately feeding an exploding population, and many others. If logical and reasonable solutions to these problems are to be implemented, it is imperative that we have some understanding of the operation of biological systems, the interactions of plants and animals with their environment, the role they play in the ecosystems, and the consequences of human activities on the ecosystems. Ultimately it is human beings who control what happens to their natural heritage.
