Madison Connections
UW-Fond du Lac partners
with UW-Madison on a Madison Connections program. The University of Wisconsin-Madison educates thousands of the state's
citizens every year by admitting some of the best and brightest students from
throughout Wisconsin.
Unfortunately, UW-Madison cannot accommadate all of the
academically strong students who apply for admission. The Connections program
offers select applicants, who are Wisconsin residents, the opportunity to start
at a partner college or university and finish their bachelor's degree at
UW-Madison--and hold a distinctive UW-Madison student status from the beginning.
UW-Fond du Lac is one of these partner universities.
UW-Madison Connections is a dual admission program to the University of
Wisconsin- Madison and to the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac. UW-Madison
offers this program to a select group of UW-Madison freshman applicants. The
program allows Wisconsin residents to start at UW-Fond du Lac and complete their
bachelor's degree at UW-Madison. Students are dually admitted to UW-Madison and
UW-Fond du Lac.
How a student benefits
A UW-Madison Connections student receives a UW-Madison ID granting many of
the same privileges as other UW-Madison students, including:
- access to UW-Madison libraries
- access to recreational facilities
- a UW-Madison email account through the My UW-Madison Web portal access to
cultural and social events offered at the university
- ability to purchase UW-Madison athletic tickets at student rates
